In announcing SoyPrint™ cartridges, PRC Technologies contends any office can now choose to print in a sustainable manner. The Sustainable Printing Program incorporates the entire printing process. It starts with high quality, compatible SoyPrint™ toner cartridges using toner powder derived from soybeans instead of oil. These cartridges are marked with SoyPrint™ labels, making them easy to identify. The program then encourages use of recycled paper and disposal of used printers. Any office can choose to significantly reduce their environmental impact on our planet by adopting this program.
Sustainable Printing Components:
- Use SoyPrint compatible, recycled cartridges. Save 3 pounds of heavy plastic from landfills and use bio-based toner!
- Use SoyPrint’s UPS return labels to send empty cartridges back to be recycled into various new plastic products.
- Use recycled paper, readily available everywhere.
- When you replace a printer, donate the old one to a local school district...no e-waste! SoyPrint can refer you to schools.
PRC's customers will receive reports tracking the impact of Sustainable Printing. These reports will include:
- Pounds of SoyPrint toner used
- Pounds of heavy plastic recycled
- Number of reams of recycled paper consumed.
